Job Descriptions:
1. Maintain the defined Supplier Quality Management System (procedures, guidelines and tools), to ensurethe requested quality in line with the CA Purchasing strategies in order to meet the cost and productivity targets;
2. Implement the prefered supplier and component strategy; Execute the consequent supplier management activities to track any quality deviations (zero tolerance for defects)
3. Drive root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirements; Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement programs;
4. Use and support the data system to collect and evaluate supplier quality related key performance indicators (KPI's) and issue periodical quality performance reports and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are initiated
5. Define targets and control measures with the supplier in alignment with the CA P SQM business and quality targets;
6. Continuous tracking of the target setting and plan fulfillment (monitoring, analysis control) in the context of Supplier Quality Management System;
7. Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality related costs (QRC)
8. Support the continuous improvement process of all supplier quality related processes, guidelines and tools by internal audits, on site assessments, benchmarking and best practice sharing programs
9. Plan and conduct supplier evaluations and assessments to support the cross-functional supplier selection team with the required quality data;
10. Contribution at sourcing decisions to ensure that the supplier will be selected under consideration of the total cost of ownership approach;
11. Provide technical expertise to the buyer for negotiation with the supplier;
12. Support the identification and evaluation of technological trends in collaboration with Advanced Purchasing to maintain the competitiveness of our products
Job Requirements:
1. Electronic, Mechanic engineer or similar. Knowledge and understanding of electronic and mechanic components required.
2. At least 1 year in the Quality area working as Q engineer or in the development team for component development.
3. Understanding of the process technologies from the automotive suppliers industry necessary.
4. Experience with multi-task functions, from problem solving to target achievement.
5. Minimum requirement. To be able to find solutions in cooperation with other teams.
6. Understanding of worldwide requirements for automotive suppliers industry.
